"RIPPLES" by Don Lawler

This piece is undergoing a transformation. I will post pictures of the revisions soon.

This functional sculpture (seating) by Don Lawler was carved from a 2,500 lb. piece of Indiana Limestone. It was completed in March 2011 and measures 56" wide by 27" deep by 24" high.
It was created from a stone that had the composition of a natural outcropping. The surface was then covered with circular glyphs.

This was a very enjoyable piece for the artist to create. The forms are varied in their creative eccentricity.

The title is derived from the concept of how different people who touch our lives, leave their effect - like ripples on a pond.

The sculpture offers a wide range of visual and tactile details to discover. It retails for $5,000.00
