"Sun Ray" stone trough

This is a functional sculpture (stone trough) that was inspired by all the stone troughs in Great Britain.

 Most stone troughs are rectangular...and...well...boring.  I decided to have some fun with the proportions and design elements.

 It is carved from a single block of Indiana Limestone.  Most of the surface is polished, but the diagonal design elements have a stippled bush texture to create visual and tactile interest.  It measures 46"L x 22"W x 13"H and weighs approximately 1,000 lbs.

"SAIL !!!"

This vessel form can be enjoyed as a sculpture and it can also be used as a vessel, such as a bird bath.

 It is called "Sail !" and was inspired by the Youtube video called "Grinding the Crack".

 This functional sculpture measures 23" x 23" x 8"H and weighs approximately 70 lbs.

This heart-shaped composition can be enjoyed as a celebration of being together.  Since it is made of extremely durable North Carolina Granite, it can be used to embellish a memorial for a loved one.

 It measures 16"H x 12"W x 8"D and weighs approximately 80 lbs.
