This is a functional sculpture entitled "Wave Urn". It is shown here on a base of 1 cubic feet of Indiana Limestone, which is optional. It is carved from Indiana Limestone, measuring 23" high by 16" in diameter and weighing approximately 250 lbs.
It has 4 raised rows of undulating wave motifs. It is carved from a hard piece of Reed Quarry stone from Bloomington, Indiana. It takes a fairly shiny polish.
